The adoption of digital caging systems is redefining in vivo rodent research by improving data accuracy, operational efficiency, and animal welfare. Traditional methods relying on manual observations and intermittent measurements often introduce variability and limit translational insights. AI-driven continuous monitoring provides real-time, high-resolution data on rodent behavior, physiology, and cage conditions, enhancing study reproducibility and predictive power. Digital caging systems also streamline program operations and improve animal welfare through closer monitoring, ultimately facilitating better data collection.
